Closed Door; Key? is an interactive fiction game based on the seed "Room; Closed Door" by Charm Cochran.  The challenge from this seed was to make an escape room game using Twine and using only nouns or adjectives.  No verbs allowed!

You will play as a secret agent trying to escape a locked office with your secret file of incriminating evidence.  Solve a few simple puzzles to find the hidden key and unlock the door.

This game is my submission for the SeedComp!--Sprouting Round Game Jam, which is an IF game jam where participants take entries, or "seeds," from the first round (the Planting Round) and transform them into games.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When playing this game, please DO NOT click the back arrow to go back to previous pages.  Just use the navigation links found on each page.  Otherwise, the game will not work as intended.  Thank you!

Content Warning: Contains a few macabre elements (such as a plastic model of a human skull), but nothing is described in much detail, and there are no pictures.

(This is my first game ever!)

Great job on managing to write an entire game without verbs. Nice little escape room experience.

This was fun! It gave me the feeling of investigating a real escape room. Great job on your first game!!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.

A very quick, fun little romp. I always love seeing floral imagery pop up in games, and the selection of rather poisonous blooms was fun for a secret agent seeking out incriminating evidence!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!  Thanks for playing!
